Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

  • Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams including stress tests.
  • Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for assigned departments.
  • Performs complex and technical electrocardiograms per the request of a physician in the diagnosis of arrhythmias.
  • Utilizes MUSE operation and functions to include acquisition, editing, transmission, and retrieval of data.
  • May provide clerical support for assigned departments.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • HS Diploma
  • Knowledge of Anatomy
  • Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures.
  • One (1) year of related experience in a healthcare environment.
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire.
  • CPR.
  • CPR certified  

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • Associate’s Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution.
  • Certified Medical Assistant, with experience in physiology.
  • Paramedic or EMT, basic Arrhythmia course, and completion of EKG course.
  • National Certification (RCVT/MA/EMT), Paramedic or Exercise Physiologist
